a friend gave me her fetal doppler over the weekend as she's done having kids. My kids have been so excited to want to listen to baby's heart beat. I am 10 weeks 3 days today and thought, "why not but don't get stressed if you can't find it". low and behold after a few minutes of searching, I was able to find it. it was so precious and fun to see their expressions when I found it and I was super excited to have found it as well. any of you have a fetal doppler? have you tried finding baby's heartbeat?

I’m 9 weeks and have a Doppler at home. I want to try but I am the type that will 100% worry if I don’t find it. I have a history of losses and I know that’s immediately where my head would go so I’ve been making myself wait. If I make it through the first trimester then I will definitely try.

I have one and I finally caved and got it out yesterday at 9wks. Found baby the second try after repositioning myself flatter. Tried again to today and found baby a bit faster!

Definitely helps relieve some anxiety as I’ve had 3 miscarriages.

Yes I have one and have been able to find baby’s heartbeat every day since 9 weeks! I’ve had 2 miscarriages so it’s such a relief and reassurance to hear it.

I will say though that I couldn’t find it a few days ago and spiraled. Tried an hour later and immediately found it, but I do understand why people say it can cause unwanted anxiety

I am 8w5d, but my baby was measuring 2 days ahead at my scan last week so I thought I would break out my Doppler today and try to find the heart beat. I laid flat with a pillow under my hips, but I couldn’t find it yet�� mad at myself for even trying this early
