Diagnosis is the critical first step in the journey of cancer care. Imaging Tests:
X-rays: Used to produce images of internal body structures, often used to detect abnormalities in bones and soft tissues.
Computed Tomography (CT) Scan: Provides detailed cross-sectional images of the body, useful for detecting tumors and assessing their size and location.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI): Utilizes magnetic fields and radio waves to generate detailed images of organs and tissues, particularly helpful in evaluating soft tissues like the brain, spinal cord, and muscles.
Ultrasound: Uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of organs and tissues, commonly employed for examining the abdomen, pelvis, and breasts.

Biopsy:
Excisional Biopsy: Surgical removal of an entire suspicious area or tumor for examination under a microscope to determine if cancer is present.
Needle Biopsy: Involves extracting a small sample of tissue using a needle, typically guided by imaging techniques such as ultrasound or CT scan, to analyze for cancer cells.
Blood Tests: Measures levels of certain substances in the blood, such as tumor markers, to aid in cancer diagnosis and monitoring.
Molecular Testing: Analyzes genetic mutations and molecular markers in tumor cells to guide treatment decisions and predict treatment response.
Endoscopy:
Upper Endoscopy: Uses a thin, flexible tube with a camera to examine the upper digestive tract, including the esophagus, stomach, and upper small intestine.
Colonoscopy: Involves inserting a flexible tube with a camera into the colon to examine the colon and rectum for abnormalities or signs of cancer.
Bronchoscopy: Allows visualization of the airways and lungs using a flexible tube with a camera, useful for diagnosing lung cancer and other respiratory conditions.
